As a rare San Francisco native, I can’t imagine a better city to live and work in. The innovative, open and vibrant culture of SF has always been a part of my life. I recently graduated from San Francisco State University with a major in liberal studies and an emphasis in children’s education. It was always my plan to become a teacher in the city that I love so much. I ended up in an after-school teaching position for 7 years through my local YMCA and the kids nearly wore me out! My last year of undergrad encouraged me to think about my skills and passions outside the classroom. With a knack for math, organization and planning I have found myself in an ideal role working with the incredibly talented ladies at The Humphreys Group to empower our clients to meet their goals.

From my fifth-grade report card: Katie has just been elected by her peers as our class vice principal, and a captain on our school’s kickball team. Katie has many friends in class which can get her distracted from her work at times. Her best subject is math, not so much science.
