I did this in Santa Cruz for the fire remediation project that took place after the fires of 2020. While I loved being able to dedicate my time to environmental issues, I found that my passions were not being fed. I wanted to be a part of something I felt more attached to. That’s where I found my niche interest in voicing the need for equitable healthcare, especially for people in need of reproductive and obstetric care.
Most recently, I worked for a wonderful company specializing in normalizing pelvic floor physical therapy. I loved being a part of a mission dedicated to the belief that everyone should have access to the care they need to feel good in their bodies. This experience inspired me to become a birth doula; someone who could help advocate for pregnant people as they start their journey of parenthood. This is now a skill that I carry with honor and pride.
And yet, I still wanted to expand my skill set and felt drawn to something I personally always found daunting: money. Serendipitously, I found The Humphreys Group. I was in awe (and still am) of how kickass these women are for their mission and values in the financial world. They’ve shown me that there is power and freedom in money and have unlocked a flame of fervor for financial services.
I joined The Humphreys Group in 2022 as a Planning and Administrative Assistant.
